Isaiah 40:31 AMP

31but those who hope in the Lord

will renew their strength.

They will soar on wings like eagles;

they will run and not grow weary,

they will walk and not be faint.

“Help others renew their strength.”

Q: How can I help when I have made myself believe I can’t help?

A: Such a classic verse, but it has purpose. Someone is currently going through troubled waters and calling out to God for relief and help right now. The world [non-believers] are crying out for Love and Help to our Heavenly Father as well, but we are to blind and our ears only filter what we want to hear. What can you do today which will make these words come alive in someone else’s life?

You might not know it or assume that someone “lesser” [a poor person or non-believer] than you can ever pray to Father God, but it’s happening right now. People need God and we are the answers to their prayers—we should be!

Ask yourself this: How many times has someone not gotten their prayer answered because I was living in sin and disobedient to the “Law of Christ?”

If someone ask, you must give [Acts 20:3, Proverbs 19:17, Galatians 6:2] – It is God’s queue for you to respond in love! I do understand that most christians believe this only applies to other “christians” but we have been so wrong. The truth is, if anyone comes to you, you must help. Give what you have. God has enabled you and provisioned you with special gifts that only you can give. Do not hoard them; they were never given for self-enrichment.

Things are not always calm and tranquil; today someone you might know is going through something that they are not advertising to the world. Ask the Lord to open your spiritual eyes to see those around you like He sees them! I have seen it so many times. The moment we hear it is about finances, we shy away and judge. Today, you don’t do that! You help! You give what you have – you must give!

Advice is not going to put food on the table; money is. Go out of your way to show that God is alive! Why not try adopting this practice? From now on, at each meal, you have to put something aside. Tomorrow, when you are out in the world, you go find a hungry person. Sorry, you don’t have to do that; God will send them to you. When they ask, you are ready to serve.

This is how we carry each other; we become the wind beneath each other’s wings.

Ask yourself this today:

Will you respond and help when it is your time?

Let’s Pray:

Father, I have missed so many opportunities to help others. I have been selfish and do not understand the “law of Christ.” I am so sorry. Please forgive me. I surrender to your ways and teachings.

In Jesus’ name. Amen!
